Dear Guests,
As happens every spring, a special natural spectacle begins when temperatures reach around 10 °C: the amphibians make their way to their spawning grounds. To protect our natural environment while ensuring you can still find your way to us safely, dedicated volunteers are on hand to guide the animals safely across the road.
We ask for your support during this time to foster a strong community:
Caution on the access road:
Please drive only at walking speed and follow the instructions of our volunteers at the roadside.
New parking rules:
During peak hiking activity, access to the parking lot will be completely closed in the evenings between 10:00 PM and 7:30 AM. During this time, it is not possible to exit the parking lot—please use the nearby alternative parking lots in a timely manner (approx. 5-minute walk).
Be considerate on foot and by bike:
Even when not in a car, we ask that you stay on the paved paths and watch carefully for animals on the ground.
Thank you very much for your consideration and understanding—we look forward to your visit!
